Take the fast train to Amsterdam

Eurostar is launching its new route between London and Amsterdam, with direct trains travelling from St. Pancras International in London to Amsterdam Centraal

From tomorrow – 4 April – Amsterdam will be just a train ride away. Eurostar’s new direct three hours and 41 minutes service will link London and the Dutch capital via Rotterdam, with fares starting from an attractive £35 one way.

The new service will include two trains a day, departing at 08.31 and 17.31 respectively.

Passengers in standard class will be able to buy Dutch treats including Stroopwaffle biscuits, beer and gin from the buffet car.

If you’re planning on splurging on Business Premiere tickets, then you’ll also get complimentary Dutch tapas snacks and gin and tonic as well as a cooked breakfast or evening meal.

The addition of Amsterdam means that Eurostar now runs to over seven European destinations from London. These include London to Paris (2hrs 16m), London to Brussels ((2hrs 01m), London to Lille (1hrs 22m), London to Bruges (3hrs 30m), London to Amsterdam (3hrs 41m), London to Avignon (5hrs 49) and London to Lyon (4hrs 41m).
