The gates to Chatham Dockyeard

That is what the local tourist board would like you to do. And, by doing so, you could win a number of prices in what they call –the Ultimate Kent Experience!

As part of a special summer photo competition designed to show off the county – The Garden of England – Visit Kent wants you to forget about Operation Stack and the stories of crowded roads and explore the area. Certainly you will find lots of French, Belgian, Dutch and German families doing precisely that but many of us use the county’s roads as just a thoroughfare to get abroad.

Share their favourite images and stories of Kent on Facebook up until the closing date on October 4th and you stand a chance of winning that ‘ultimate Kent experience’.

One lucky winner will be given the chance to experience the very best of Kent, including an overnight stay at Hever Castle, passes to a host of attractions, a hot air balloon ride, a surfing lesson and a £150 shopping card.

Selfies, group photos, and landscape shots are all welcome – the more imaginative, the better says the tourist board provided that it shows of Kent at its best. Visitors have the whole summer to send their snaps, and multiple entries are allowed to give you a better chance of winning the main and the runner-up prizes.
