cotedazurcard On the French Riviera, The Côte d’Azur Tourist Board recently the COTEDAZUR-Card,® a pass which gives its holders access to 115 activities throughout the entire area from the Alpes-Maritimes to the from the coast and the mountain resorts.

Those 115 activities are not just related museums and galleries meaning that most tourists would only visit a handful. This card includes the opportunity for 25 tours and excursions, 6 nature sights, 29 museums & monuments, 13 leisure activities, 10 artistic attractions, crafts & good food, 19 nature activities and 13 aquatics activities. All of these activities are in the 53 communes in the Alpes-Maritimes and eastern Var departments so you won’t spend hours travelling between them all and wasting time when you could be getting your money’s worth.

And talking of money, a three day pass for an adult is €39 whilst a child under 12 will pay just €21. You can also get a six day pass and there, the price is €54 for an adult and €29 for a child. Using the last prices a guide that works out at €9 a day for an adult and just under for a child. Many combinations are possible according to whether you prefer museums, the outdoors, tours of major sights or you are travelling with the family.

You don’t have to buy it before you arrive, there are plenty of hotels and tourist board offices that will sell it when you arrive. But it might be a good idea to look at the website before you leave and decide if the attractions on offer are ones you would go to and, yes, the website is in English.
