Brits are a nation of law abiding travellers

By | Category: Travel news

Forget recent tales of drug-stuffed lollipops, dead caterpillars and illegal cigarettes, a new poll reveals that we are a nation of squeaky-clean, law-abiding travellers when it comes to passing through airport security.

In the recent customer survey, the worst most people have done is accidentally smuggle liquids (nine per cent) or sharp objects (seven per cent).

Eighty-two per cent of UK travellers have never had anything confiscated from their hand-luggage and 94 per cent say they have never smuggled anything through security by mistake.
