And the Winner is…

You will remember that in September we urged you to vote in the British Travel Awards.
Why?
Because is the one of the few opportunities that we, as visitors, have of letting the travel trade know what we think is best. Well last night at the Battersea Evolution in London the winners were announced. But in many ways the important thing was the number of you that took the trouble to vote. Over 200,000 of you. That sends a message to the industry that you have strong views on who you think provides the best service. So thanks to all of you from CD-Traveller and the organisers of the Academy for voting.
So who won?

Last Chance to Vote

Sep 30th, 2010 | By

Today is the last day you can vote in the British Travel Awards.
If you haven’t voted yet the please find the time to vote now.
Why?
Because these are one of the few awards where you can make a difference. You and only you decide some of these awards
Secondly, you stand the chance of winning one of the many holidays, cruises or other prizes that are on offer.
And finally, with your vote, even CD-Traveller might win an award!
No forget the last sentence. Vote for the company that you believe has given you the best service or product. It means more to them than the trade telling them they’re good. The companies need you. Without your business they won’t exist so by voting them you send a real message that the service is good and their product is what you want. So click on the voting button in the right of this page.
PS Good luck in the prize draw as well.

British Travel Awards

For the third year running, CD-Traveller is involved with these awards.
Why?
Because you are the decision-maker in deciding who gets some of these awards. Last year nearly 100,000 of you voted on which company you thought was the best tour operator, cruise company, long haul airline, hotel and a number of other awards. As we have written before, these are one of the few awards where you, the traveller, get to make your thoughts known. Most awards are decided by the people in the trade. You, alone, decide some of these.
So it’s important that you vote.

Did You Vote for the Winners?
