Airport delays, strikes in France, Belgium and Greece, restrictions on island destinations in Thailand all tend to deflate Adrian this coming bank holiday.
The Deputy Mayor of Bordeaux, Olivier Bernard – the man in charge of tourism – quipped, what would a football match be without beer? And this coming from a man charged with promoting tourism to one of the most well-known wine producing regions in the world.
To my mind, Bordeaux is linked with two things, rugby and wine. Since the rugby season has ended let’s consider wine, where some of the vineyards are and what they have to offer the visitor this summer.
