For sports enthusiasts looking for a new challenge, Jakes’ Off-Road Triathlon will take place next week on 20 April 2013 or if world-class surfing is more your thing then the Makka Pro Surf Championship will take place from 18 – 20 July 2013. Golfers looking for a winter-sun break later in the year can take part in the 8th annual Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am from 20 – 24 November, which is open to teams consisting of both professional and amateur players.

Voted one of the ‘Top Five Off-Road Races in the World’ by Triathlete magazine, Jakes’ Off-Road Triathlon is an exciting yet challenging event taking place on 20 April in the fishing village of Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth. The event is hosted by world-renowned hotel Jakes, and features a 500m ocean swim, a 25km mountain bike ride and a 7km country run, attracts a range of top athletes from Jamaica, the Caribbean and around the world. ‘Annie’s Revenge’ 8th Annual Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am: 20 – 24 November 2013
‘Annie’s Revenge’, Jamaica’s largest international Pro-Am, returns this November to the Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall from 20 – 24 November 2013. The event is sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board and NIKE Golf, and has quickly become one of golf’s most popular winter tournaments with teams from the US, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.
