Pegasus serves award winning food and wine

By | Category: Travel news

Pegasus Airlines has been rated as the best airline in Europe for on-board food in Skyscanner’s recent European Airline Food Awards in the low-cost category.

In leading global travel search site Skyscanner’s second annual study of the quality of on-board culinary offerings, Pegasus took the number one spot in the low-cost airline category after over 550 European travellers and bloggers took part as food critics.

This follows hot on the heels of Pegasus’ success in the Skyscanner 2012 Airline Wine Awards when it took third and fourth place respectively for its white (Kavalidere Cankaya 2011) and red wine (Kavaklidere Angora 2011) served on-board. Judged by a panel of wine experts in a blind tasting, 21 economy-class wines served on board the major European carriers were sampled.

Pegasus Airlines’ in-flight meals include an array of sugar-free and gluten-free options, which can be pre-ordered online at www.flypgs.com
