It’s been a fab-u-lous four days full of street parties, BBQs, concerts, flotillas and fun events to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and even the occasional downpour failed to dampen the Jubilee spirit. Rather, in the words of The Independent, the weather “added a very British feel” to the festivities!
Standing with 250,000 other revellers in Pall Mall on Monday night, listening to Prince Charles pay tribute to the Queen at the spectacular Diamond Jubilee concert, I felt proud to be British. The history, the pomp, people from all walks of life coming together – nobody does it better than the British. Roll on the London 2012 Olympics…
